Fire Damage – Chicago Home

Fire damage to this Chicago home started with a grease fire in the kitchen. Grease fires burn very hotly creating considerable smoke damage with the accompanying soot and odor. We first had to clean up the water damage created by the firefighting effort. We also removed any affected contents from the home for transport to our warehouse where we would restore them as much as possible. Seriously damaged building materials were torn out and disposed of properly. WE used proven SERVPRO products and procedures to treat the soot and smoke damage throughout the house. Then we rebuilt the kitchen to finish up the project. The family was very appreciative of the job performed by our technicians.
