Peak bloom is anticipated in late April and early May and lasts for 6 to 10 days.

Located in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood, the Rockefeller Memorial Chapel is the ceremonial and spiritual center of the University of Chicago. Significant speakers and artists prize this medieval-looking cathedral as the desired event location. Over 220,000 visitors enjoy festivals and ceremonies every year.

Mold Remediation in Cold Weather Conditions
Many consumers believe that cold weather can kill mold. However, the reality is that mold spores are very hardy. During cold weather, the spores become dormant and respond when conditions improve. Once temperatures warm up, the spores reactivate and begin multiplying if moisture and food are available.
SERVPRO encounters numerous mold infestations requiring mold remediation in Chicago homes during the winter months. We maintain our homes and offices at temperatures suitable for mold growth during the winter and summer with the AC operating.
Clients can reduce mold infestations by:
- Ensuring good air circulation
- Repairing water leaks and keeping areas dry
- Maintain humidity levels below 50%
- Discard old materials exposed to moisture
